One of the most special days in your life needs a special wedding venue… and London Rowing Club offers a romantic and intimate setting in which to celebrate with your loved ones.
Now we invite you and your loved ones to have your special day in this idyllic Victorian building situated on the banks of the River Thames in Putney for over 130 years. Boasting a neutral colour scheme and big windows providing a bright and airy atmosphere, the Long Room with an adjacent balcony will be your focal point for any aspect of your day.
Delivering the perfect day
Our highly experienced events team is on hand to help you plan any element of your day, as we are a fully licensed venue for weddings and civil ceremonies. The Long Room can be transformed from ceremony to reception, whilst you and your guests enjoy drinks in the Fairbairn room or on the balcony enjoying the views of the river.
If you choose to host the ceremony elsewhere, we will be ready to greet the happy couple for the evening reception. Being located on the river, we are fortunate to have some unique backdrops for those all-important photographs, and when the formalities are done - it’s time for the band or DJ and that all-important first dance.

At London Rowing Club, we understand that planning a wedding reception and trying to find the right caterers to deliver a memorable dining experience, can feel overwhelming.
By hosting your wedding with us, you have the opportunity to use one of our carefully selected caterers local to Putney and South West London. With many years of experience delivering mouth-watering dishes blending flavours and textures - they will work with you to craft the perfect bespoke menu for your special day.

We had our wedding (ceremony & reception) at LRC in July, and the venue itself and the team we worked with were absolutely incredible! Everything on the day went without a hitch and we heard so many compliments on the location - our guests loved the balcony and the layout inside, which included plenty of space for anyone wanting a break from dancing to sit down and relax. Would recommend to anyone looking to host an event!

So many of our guests said how lovely the venue and staff were on the day, and the whole place looked a million dollars with an amazing photo set on and around the balcony and river - although we haven't seen those yet. The corkage and bar tariff prices are also incredibly reasonable for an inner London location! I can't recommend the LRC highly enough. It will live in memory for a very long time.
